Shea Butter
Shea butter is a highly prized emollient derived from nuts of the karite tree, which grows in West African savannahs, and is also called the "Tree of Life" by locals. Shea butter is moisturizing, softening, and enhances cell regeneration and collagen production, which aids in the healing of small wounds, cracks, crevices and skin ulcers, contributing to the regeneration process of dry and wrinkled skin. Shea butter is effective for stretch mark prevention and minimization because of its buttery texture that immediately penetrates the skin leaving it with a silky protective layer.
